Walking & Cycling


The Church is approximately 20 minutes walk (5 to 10 minutes cycle) from the City Centre. The official cycling route between Chichester and Bognor Regis passes by the church, the South Coast Cycle Route [National Route 2] is nearby (2 minutes South) and a traffic-free route between the City centre and Whyke Road/Bognor Road (1 minute North).

Rail Services


Nearest National Rail station: Chichester - 1 mile, approx 15 minutes walk
Southern operates services to London, Croydon and Gatwick Airport (two services per hour, one per hour Sundays), Brighton, Shoreham and Worthing (two per hour, one per hour Sundays) Havant and Portsmouth (at least two per hour), Fareham and Southampton (two per hour, none on Sundays).
First Great Western run through services to Salisbury, Warminster, Bath and Bristol twice a day, at other times these services can be found by changing services in Portsmouth or Fareham.

By Private Transport


Saint George's can be found just off of Whyke Road (the B2145 Selsey Road), approximately half a mile North of the A27 South Coast trunk road.

A limited amount of parking is available at the church itself. Parking is also available in adjacent roads, although this is subject to parking restrictions between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Saturdays.
