We, the people of Saint George's Whyke in the City of Chichester
seek to centre our lives more fully on Christ.

Moved by the Spirit,
we commit ourselves to building up a community of love,
nourished by a life of personal prayer and shared celebration,
and strengthened by an appreciation and knowledge of our faith.

We will share our friendship and work
with the wider Christian Community,
joyously spreading the Good News of Christ to all,
by an enthusiastic and caring response
to the local and global needs and concerns of our times.
