How did we score ourselves against the marks of a healthy church?
Thank you to everyone who took part in last Sunday’s ‘Growing a Healthy Church’ exercise. A total of 92 people completed the check list, which was a very good representative spread of our congregation. For those able to stay on into the afternoon, the discussion groups proved very valuable, and there is much for the new PCC to consider and action, bearing in mind the proviso that it is better to do a few things well!
Below is the table of results for you to look at.

Forms filled in: 92
You will see that each column has a weighting; column 1 is multiplied by one, column 2 by two etc.
You will notice that you consider that we do well when it comes to facing the cost of change and growth. The table also shows us that we are generally good at making room for others.
However, our biggest challenge is to ensure a more outward looking focus.
If you have any further comments to make, especially in the light of these findings, please put them in writing, and give them to one of the staff members or a churchwarden. Your reflections should include how you might help enhance our life and work together in Christ.
