This year Ride and Stride, which raises funds in aid of historic churches and chapels, is taking place on Saturday 11 September.
Would you like to join a group of walkers from St George’s to help raise much needed funds for our church?
Jenny Harding is joint coordinator of the St George’s Ramblers and her husband, John, has designed a simple route that takes in ten venues in the city centre. We will meet at the Cathedral Bell Tower in West Street at 10am. If you are interested in taking part, please have a word with Jenny after church for more details and a sponsorship form.
If you are unable to join the walk, but would like to sponsor a walker and so help St George’s please let Jenny know.
