Spanish favourites and many of the best-loved classical guitar solos will feature in his programme. This is the first time the church has hosted a solo guitar recital and reviews such as “Great technique, beautiful tone and a musicality that is rare” and “A ravishing and heartfelt performance… exceptionally sensitive interpretive talents” have heightened the excitement for Mark’s visit on the 29th.
Although Mark has studied and played guitar for most of his life, he has also studied History, Politics and particularly Philosophy and was awarded an M.Phil and Ph.D from University College, London.
