Calendar
All are welcome to our weekly term-time session for families with young children. This is held in the Centenary Centre between 10:30 and 12:00 and includes a time for free play and activities, a story and a song. Refreshments will also be provided with a suggested donation per family. If anyone would like to help with refreshments or with setting up, storytelling or singing, please speak to Fr Angus.
New Christian Meditation Group At St George’s
We are starting a regular meditation group at St George’s. Two meditation
meetings are held each week in the Lady Chapel. One at
5:30pm on Mondays and one at 10:15am on
Thursdays during term time. Each session will
last approx. 30-40 minutes and include a short
reflection and a period of silent meditation. The
first sessions will introduce meditation and be led
by Fr Angus. The hope is that the sessions will be
led by others in due course with resources drawn
from The World Community for Christian
Meditation (wccm.org). All are welcome to come along,
whether you are new to meditation or have
previous experience.
The new outreach activity at St George’s is all ready to commence on Wednesday 5th October – 3pm – 4.30pm, in the Centenary Centre, entry through the carpark behind the church,
