Friday’s concert in our Last Friday series is to be an organ recital by Richard McVeigh, widely recognised as one of the countries most accomplished and entertaining musicians, this is an event not to be missed. Richard’s recital will also feature contributions from soprano Caroline Balfour, his wife [and a former pupil of Susan H-E]

Chichester City Band make a welcome return visit and round off the Series
These events are the single largest source of income for the Historic Churches Trust enabling grants to be made to historic places of worship.
Funds raised may be split between the Trust and the participants chosen church. Here at St George’s we have always taken an active part in this annual event, opening the church and providing refreshments for visitors, and to walk or cycle, visiting as many churches as possible around the county. This year, our coordinator, Katrina Huertas is planning to provide a route in and around Chichester where folk will be able to either complete the whole route or drop in/drop out depending on how far individuals are able to walk. You will be hearing more about this event during the coming weeks but for now please make a note in your diary, you may like to take part fully or partial or you may like to sponsor someone who would like to take part.
