Whyke Residents Association AGM @ Centenary Centre, St George's Church

Whyke Residents Association are holding their AGM in St. George’s Hall, Cleveland Road on Thursday 2nd May.

  • There will be an update of current affairs in Whyke,
  • Alan will comment on urban vehicle speeds through our streets.
  • Sam Tate will explain her role as the new Clerk of the City Council.
  • Dr. John Fitch will give a talk on the history of the Churchyard at St. Marys.
  • There will also be side displays of general interest and a raffle.

Whyke Residents Association – Open Gardens Day @ (Across Whyke)

WRA is holding an informal Open Gardens day on Sunday 9th June.
After a highly successful event  last year with 22 householders opening and showing their gardens, right across Whyke from Langdale Avenue  to Stirling Road. the Open Gardens day has been brought forward this year in order to coincide with the time when roses tend to be at their best.
We hope to include more gardens this year, from patios to vegetable and flower gardens, large or small. Each will have different ideas and
