‘Last Friday of the Month Concert Series’
St George’s, Whyke
Eolandra Brass Quartet
and
Kuckoo Theatre Choir
EBQ will perform a variety of specially written brass pieces as well as more familiar repertoire ranging
from Handel to Scott Joplin.
They are joined this year by the newly formed
Kuckoo Theatre Choir,
part of the Kuckoo Theatre of Performing Arts
based at Chichester Free School.
They will perform items from musical theatre.

All our welcome to our weekly term-time session for families with young children. This is held in the Centenary Centre between 10:30 and 12:00 and includes a time for free play and activities, a story and a song. The new outreach activity at St George’s is all ready to commence on Wednesday 5th October – 3pm – 4.30pm, in the Centenary Centre, entry through the carpark behind the church,
The name of the group has been confirmed as WRAP-CHAT (Whyke, Rumboldswhyke & Portfield)
All are welcome! Our first speaker to start the proceedings will be The Revd Dr Angus Reid, yes, our very own Fr Angus, his talk is entitled “Fr Angus’ journey from the day of the 9/11 attacks to Ordination”. Not to be missed! Admission £2 to include refreshments. We do hope you will be able to attend, and please bring a friend or two. Come to enjoy the brilliant sound of brass in the acoustic of St George’s from one of the South of England’s premier brass bands.
November 24th: Sophie Middleditch (recorders) and David Pollock (harpsichord)
This distinguished duo brings its customary blend of charm and virtuosity in a delightful programme of baroque and modern music.
