There are lots of community activities taking place here at Saint George’s. You’re welcome to get involved, whether or not you come to church.
Saint George’s Tots is an activity morning for pre-school children and their parents or carers, which meets every Monday from 10am until noon.
Our popular Children’s Cinema has films screened monthly.
Our Ramblers’ group meets for walks of about five miles around the local countryside, normally the first Saturday of the month (please check the website for exceptions).
For those interest in singing, our excellent Church Choir rehearses Tuesday evenings at 6.15pm and sings each Sunday at at 10am Mass. The WRAP Community Choir meets each Tuesday at 7.30pm
Every Wednesday from 2.30 – 4.opm there is Tea and Chat – an informal social with and homemade cake, open to all.
All these events (except the rambling!) happen in the Centenary Centre, our parish hall at the back of the Church. If you have a community group that wants to us the Centre, do get in touch.
